New Plastic Valkyrie

Ive just finished the new plastic valkyrie kit from Games Workshop.

Its an amazing kit that is a joy to build and paint. Ive painted it up to match my Guard army. It will be carring my stormtroopers.

I will be using it for the first time tomorrow at Ready-to-run models in East Grinstead.

Looking very good, the dark green / red combination is fantastic.

I agree, the dark green and red colours certainly compliment eachother. I especially like the detailing you added on the exhausts. It's hard finding the right shade to represent burnt metal, but you have got it spot on! Nice work mate

The burnt metal in just, burnished gold, then tin bitz then black - simples, but looks nice.

Thanks for the comments.

Frazer, a few questions:
1. how the hell hav I not found this blog sooner?
2. how the hell can you get a delivery of a stormlord then have it finished 9 days late in such top quality?
3. how the hell have you not got more followers?

Iv flicked thru every single post, Im a guard player so naturally i love your work, the Cadian stormlord is brill, Iv been wanting to see one in those colours since they came out cos thats how id do it if i get one...
Now Iv never been an eldar fan by any long shot, but your models are just great. The highlighting of the black is so simple but really looks s million dollars, and the dynamic poses of those flyers over the cities of death terrain is just fantastic!
Im a follower for sure and Im going to give you a big shout out on my blog
